The Quiet Gent- An unsung hero

The quiet gent is essentially a garbageman. And he is a small spring in between clanking pulleys, a bimetallic plate that make welds meet, an honest artisan amidst trumpet blowers, an unswerving loyalist to an obscure cause, a filibuster on impending harsh judgements, a spin doctor to cover up holes created by the headstrong, a glue that can seal and heal everything but itself, a garbageman that routinely puts the dirt away, tucks it under sheets, fumigates it, swallows it, makes it go away so that some sort of balance holds, that balance which is the essence of all institutions in the world, the only force that keeps a variety of time bombs forever ticking but never exploding..Where would we be but for the quiet gent?
